She is utrongly built, and handsome, her timbers being selected in Sawyer's Bay, while sho is plnnked witli Oregon pino, and decked with ICnu'ri piho of 'a superior quality. — '"Daily Times."
We see by tiio <l Sidney Empire" of tho 1 3th inst., tbut the s.s. Claud Hamilton wa.s to leave that port for Ifokitika on the 18th inst. The James Patterson, s.s,, which arrived at Sydney on tho 14th inst., with 20 passengers from Hokitikn, is laid on nguin for this port, lo sail with despatch.
