THE STEAMSHIP KEERA.
The " Otago Daily Time?," of the 20th inst., says :—
" The Keera, s.s., arrived off Bluff Harbor, from Otago, at 4 p in. on the 12th. Left Port Chalmers at 10 a.m. on Friday ; experienced very heavy weather ; and the Southland papers report that, when within ten miles of this port she shipped a heavy sea, carrying away part of her bulwarks forward. Had to put back to the Nuggets for shelter."
The following later and moro reliable information is supplied by a letter from Mr Alfred Gillies, one of the owners, to Mr J. B. Carey, of ♦his town,- dated Dunedin, the 20th November. At that time the Keera was lying at the jetty at the Bluff, to which port She had put in for "supplies, piior to resuming her voyuge north ■about.
