The steamer Keera, Captain Joyce, left Port Chalmers nt 9 a.m. on Friday Iho 10th inst, and it was understood she was to come Pouth about. The Clirhtchurch impels of tho 13th contain no mention in their te'egranis of her having called at the Bhi/T. As slio has now been at s«a fifteen days somo anxiety is beginning to Lo felt about I-er. Many enquiries have been made as to the nnrncs of her pa«sengers. By a somewhat singular mischance the Olugo Daily Times ot tho 10th inst., tho ono containing her clearance, ii 1 * missing from our Dunedin files', which with that exception are complete. Company's 'otonmor Egmont, James Hagley, commander, arrived in Dunedin, from Nelson, on November Otli, at six pm., and remained there until tlio 11th, on which day she left for Ly Helton, at five p.m., where she arrived, . after a pleasant passage, nt three pm., on the 12tli. 'Left again at noon on the 13th, and experienced a strong N.W. breeze ; and arrived at Wellington on the 14th, at five p.m. Left again at neon on the ICtli, and arrived at Piclon tho same evening at six pm. Left at six a.m. on the 17th, and arrived at Nelsm the flame day, at 6.30 p.m. Fiuo weather. The post of pilot, at Wellington, has been conferred on Mr Scott, formeily captain of tho Ynrra, but latterly chief ofh'cer of the ntcamor riuebe. Captain Scott was appointed on Tuesday lnst, and entered immediately on his dn'ics —Nelson Examiner. Maxa Light.— Captain Low, of the steamer Wimginiu, states that on Tlnusday nigh', tho Oth instant, tho light at Matm was out from midnight till four o'clock tho following morning ; nnd that, on tho following Monday night, on his vessel passing the island, tho light could not bo seen. Tho fctcamor William Miskin, which lias been undergoing repairs at Port Chalmers, has been launched from Isbister's Slip, and was loading foe Ilokitika.
