In reference .to the former article, it is a matter of surprise, that it should have so little tendency to advance,-par-ticularly as our supply is so limited, jind in the face of lato advices from the Australian markets, vhcreariseof L 5 pir ton -has taken place in almost every description of floftr. Bacon and hams are very scarce, and good hams can he easily placo i at sellers' prices. Oats are also very scarce, and purchasers aro compellei to give high prices, as tho supply is limited to a very few bags ; tho same may be taiil of chaff and bran.
