EXPORTS,

Per Kennedy, for Noteon— Case of gold containing 2000 sovereigns, L'2so ozs gold, Union • Bank ; ■Teakfe merchandise, Order.

The p.s. Kennedy, bound to Nelson, sailed yesterday morning, aftur having been detained some days, -partially through bad weatlier and partly though the iecent fresh rendering it unHufft for the vessels outside her to unmoor. She got away however in excellent stylo, and will no "xloubt make a speedy passage. > The Lidy of the -Lake still ornaments the 'north spit, and what is going to be done with her is not apparently determined on. Wo boHevo lhat somo persons are willing to pmchaso her for the purpose of bringing down wool from tho coast during the ensuing season, on the cast side of the province. She is said to be 'specially suited for, such service, and the sdoner she is put to somo useful account, instead 61 taking periodical excursion?, tli6 better for those who .art fortunate, or unfortunate enough to own her. . , We are j,liul to state that the Mount Alexander has got off into the river, and ia now safely afloat alongside the bank. At ono lime it was very problematical whether this desirablo ter'miuation to her recent misfortunes would bo brought about ; but nil her present difficulties are surmounted, and she is being rapidly rigged^ nndl, rendered fitfor Sea. The John Bullock is making good way, and in n week or So wiil have completed her overland tiip. The three-masted schooner Storm Bird sill remains outside, though -it is by no means iirljinbablo that th" heavy westerly swell oh last evening may have con.peiled her to put to sea 'during the night. Owing to the samo cause It is quite probable that the Auckland, steamer, may hove to do the same. The P . and N.Z. Co's steamer Auckland arrived in the roadstead yesterday, but no boa* could go out to her. The steamer Bruce, if tho weath6r permits, will go out this morning at half-past '8 o'clock, and will take out and bring in pHssengers. The. Auckland brings 40 passengers, a hmnll quantity of cargo, and some specie, the amount of which is not known, forthe banks here. She will take away 7,500 ozs. of gold-r-, 5,500 ozs shipped by the Bank of New Zealand, and 2.000 ozs. by the Bunk of New South Wales.
