PASSENGERS LANDING STAIRS.

TO THE EMTOIt OJ? THE "WEST COAST TIMES." Sir,-r-Would you kindly allow me space in your widely circulated papor to call the attentioh of the Improvement Oommitteo to tho wharf at present being built at Gibson's Quay. Tho wharf extends from above the Custom Houso to Wharf street, and in no placo is there a landing-stairs for passengers. I would suggest that a double landing-stairs be at once made opposito Wharf street, which will prove of tho greatest convenienco to the inhabitonts of the Kaniori and the southern goldfielda ; and I hope the Improvement Cominitteo will see to this before it is too late, as the wharf is now nearly mado. — I am, Sir, etc , Wm. Rutheu?orl>, * HoUitika, November 13.
