TO THE KDITOR OF THE '' WEST COAST TIMES." Sin,— Capt. M'Lcan, of the AUiambra, through the medium of your paper, states there is a good passage inside of Open Iky Islets (situated between Bruco and Jackson's Buys) through which ho passed on his way hero from Jackson's Bay. Conversing with Mr R. Davidson, mate of the Aparima, an old sailor, and ono well acquainted with the West Coast, ho stated that there arc three distinct rocks in the passage which possibly were covered when the Alhainbra passed. From tho northward tho two islets aro dangerous to approach, but comparatively bold to the southward, and form ono islet at low water. There being a probability of an important traffic in that direction induces me to pen theso few remarks for tho benefit of my nautical friends visiting that quarter. I remain, Sir, Yours faithfully, Geo. C. Bodd. Hokitika, Nov. 1, 1865.
