Sir, — Having noticed a paragrap in your paper detrimental to my character as Harbor Master of tho .Port of Hokitika the .reasons for my going to Bruce Bay can be fully explained likewise where I was at the time tho vtssels mentioned were taking tho bar but if the party representing him self as Zelos will gire his true name then I consider myself justified in giving full explanation if not I shall sue for damages as defamation of character imputing it to tho partys ignorance on nautical matters.
