The Printers and Publishers of the prosent work, having previously brought out most successfully similar works in Dunedin and Invercargill, undertake tho present task with a feeling that the public will repose confidence in their ability to produce a creditable Directory for this Port and the "West Coast Goldfiolds— and certainly not inferior to any published else- 1 where. In addition to the usual features of ordinary Directories, the publishers intend to give a Lithographed plan of the Town, with tbo number of the various sections and the Reserves marked thereon.
