WHEREAS, on Monday, the 4th September, 1865, Mr Walmsley, of the Bank of New South Wales, was stuck \ip and robbed, about 12 o'clock in the day, by four or five armed men, between No Town and the Twelve-Mile, on tho Grey River Goldfields, in the Province of Nelson, about 14 miles distant from the Grey Mouth, in the Province of Canterbury, of 821 Ounces of Gold Dust, and about LIOOO in Bank Notes. This is to notify that a Reward of L2OO will be paid by the Bank of New South Wales at Hokitika, to any person or persons who may give such information as will lead to the apprehension and conviction of the said offender or offenders ; or a Reward of L4OO for recovery of the stolen property.
