MAIL NOTICES.
- Mails (lettora only) for Europe, the Australian Colonies, India and the Mediteranean ports, as also for the various ports of New Zealand, will close_ per overland mail, at 7 a.m. on Monday, tbe 11th inst. Mails close as under for — Kanieri, at 9 a.m. of each Wednesday and Saturday. Waimea, at 4.30 p.m. of Wednesday and Saturday. Greenstone/ at 4.30 p.m. of Wednesday. Overland mail for Christchurch will close at 7 a.m . on Monday mornings until further notice. No lato letter fee will bo charged. All letters outwards (except those for Nelson) will in future, by order of tho Chief Postmaster, Christchurch, be forwarded weekly, overland to Christchurob, unless otherwise specially addressed. A Post Office io now established at the Totara, and mails for the above will closo at 9 a, in. of every Friday. MICHAEL KEOGH, Postmaster. Hokitika, 4th September, 1865.
