Mails for the Waiinea are despatched from tho Post-ollice, Ilokitikn, 'on tlio mornings of Monday, an'l Thui&day, closing at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and' Saturdays. Mails for Kanieri are despatched on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m., closing at 0 a.m. saino day. Mails for the Greenstone are despatched every Tuesday Mail (overland) for Christchurch closes at 4.30 p m of Saturdays. Late letters may be posted up to 9 a m of Monday mornings, by attaching tho usual late letter fee (6d) in stamps, in addition to tho ordinary postage late. Having been informed that an overcharge has been made by the runner on the Kanieri we beg to warn our readers that arrangements have been effected to supply the residents on that field with the West Coast Times at tho town rate of Sixpence per copy ; and we shall feel obliged by any instance of overcharge being reported at tho office.
