COMPANY DIVIDENDS

Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand. Ltd.: Subject to approval by shareholders at the annual meeting in London on April 22, a dividend will be paid at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum for the year ended September 30, 1946, of which 2* per cent, has already boon paid together with a bonus of U per cent, actual. making a total of 61 per cent, for the year (unchanged). The Dominion register of shares will be closed from April 9 to April 22, both days inclusive. The dividend will be paid on receipt of cabled advice of the result of the annual meeting, and will be payable at the National Bank of New Zealand. London. Advice to this effect has been received by the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand. Auckland Laundry. Ltd. is recommending a lower dividend of 3 per cent, for the year ended January 31. Dividend for the previous three years was 4 per cent, the rote being raised from the 3 per cent, paid for the year ended January 31, 1943.
