Friends are respectfully advised that the funeral of the late Mrs. Bertha Gordon Pearce will leave the Anglican Church, .Ohakune, at the conclusion of a service to be held today (Saturday, March 8), at 2.30 p.m, -* the Ohakune Cemetery.—W. H. Sandford, Funeral Directors, Raetihi.
ROGERS (GORDON)—On February 28, 1947, at Melbourne, Kate, the beloved and cherished mother of Doris K. Gordon, 627 Malvern Rd, Toorak. Melbourne, Aust, (daughter of the late J. O. Hayward, Wairarapa); aged 74 years. The long day closes.
SPRIGGENS—On March 7, 1947, at his residence, 14 Polson Street, Castlecliff, James, dearly loved husband of Ada Edith Spriggens. And loved father of Mrs. Cecil Rowntree and Mr. Alf Spriggens, Kai Iwl; in his 81st year.
