M.C.C. TEAM WILL BE IN WANGANUI TO-MORROW

The English M.C.C. cricket eleven, which has just completed a tour of Australia, arrived at Auckland last evening by flyingboat from Sydney. They will travel to Wellington, where their first match of their short New Zealand itinerary will take place. On their way through by road, the team will lunch at Raetihi, and then come down the Parapara Road to Wanganui, arriving here at approximately 3.30 p.m. on Sunday. The Wanganui Cricket Association will entertain the Englishmen at afternoon tea in the R.S.A. Hall and later in the afternoon their journey will be continued to Wellington. During their short stay in Wanganui, the Englishmen will make no public appearance, instrumental in which is the time factor. •••••••••••••••••••••••••a
