Set test selections for pipe band conlesls as for brass band contests was not favoured by the New Zealand Highland Pipe Association at a conference in Wanganui last night. Concensus was that people liked variety, and bands should have the right to play what they liked. Only the mover and seconder voted in favour of set test pieces.
