WANGANUI TECHNICAL COLLEGE

EVENING CLASSES Enrolments for evening classes at. the Wanganui Technical College have nearly topped the 300 mark. There have been 291 enrolments to date. The rush began last week and the figures became much higher on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week Classes have not yet been thorough# organised as the various contests were held in Wanganui recently (particularly when the band contest was in progress) and they retarded rather than accelerated enrolments. New classes are being started and it is expected that enrolments will increase accordingly. The classes in question are: Botany for pharmacy candidates, French and advanced English, musical appreciation and physical education.
