HORSE EVENTS POPULAR AT PARKING
Very popular are the horse events competed in every year at the Parikino sports. The best horses in the district are seen and, under a system of dates arranged oy a central committee of the sports association, the meeting of various junipers under the eyes of different judges creates a great deal of interest. Parikino has invariably set a high standard and the open jump at the sports this year, on March 15, next Saturday week, should prove one of the best ever witnessed. It is for a prize of 15 guineas and a challenge cup valued at £2l. There is also tn be an interesting open pony jump.
