CAVE IN WELLINGTON TEAM TO PLAY THE ENGLISHMEN
The sole cricket selector (Mr. J. R. Lainason) has announced the following team to represent Wellington against the M.C.C. in a ' three-day match beginning next Monday, March 10: J. K. Lamas on (capt.), R. T. Earlier, E. W. Tindall, R. McK. Murray (W.C.0.8.), R. S. Chailies, R. Crawford (Midland), D. S. Wilson (Kilbirnie), C. S. Dempster (Institute), H. V. Cave (Wanganui), J. si. Capstick (Hutt Valley), J. A. Ongley (Manawatu), and J. BL Oakley (University). The team will practice at the Basin Reserve thi s week. Umpires for the match are Messrs M. F. Pengelly and T. W. Dick.
