POST FOR SIR EARLE PAGE

Canberra, Aug. 27. Sir Earle Page has been given a seat in the Australian War Cabinet. He will have no vote, but will otherwise take full part in the Cabinet’s work. This development is of considerable nolitical importance since it is the first time that an Opposition member has been admitted to the Cabinet. Sir Earle Page will also be a member of the War Advisory Council. He was Commonwealth representative in the United Kingdom War Cabinet.
