MUST LAST LONGER

CLOTHING COUPONS IN BRITAIN Rugby, Aug. 27. British clothing coupons available on October 12 will have to last five and a-half instead of four and a-half months. Announcing this change, the □resident of the Board of Trade said the country had to reckon with a severe strain upon imports for some time ahead. After consultation with the Trades Union Council and the British Employers’ Confederation, many classes of industrial workers would receive special allowances, and children would also get extra coupons.—B.O.W.
