WAVERLEY NEWS
RED CROSS LECTURER Members of the Waverley Red Cross, who have been attending home nursing lessons, presented Mrs. D. G. Thomson, the lecturer, with a crystal jug and goblets on Thursday evening. The presentation was made by the secretary, Mrs. C. Stewart, after which Mrs. Thomson expressed her thanks. Four trained nurses are coming from Wanganui on Thursday nig.\t to examine the pupils. The next course is for hygiene and sanitation. Anyone interested should get in touch with the secretary, Mrs. C. Stewart.
