AUSTRALIA WILL WIN FRED PERRY’S VIEW Received March 1, 11.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 28. I Fred Perry, while announcing why he expects to defeat Budge on Marcn 10, expressed the opinion that Australia would win the Davis Cup from America if she beat Japan in the American zone. He said that “lhe Australia-Japanese tie will be the best of all the Cup play if they don’t ’sell Japan short’ this time.” Perry also said that there was not a single outstanding amateur since Budge turned protessional, but there were five virtually on a par, namely Bromwich, von Cramm, Riggs, Austin and Yamagishi.
