NEW RESTING PLACE
COFFIN OF LATE KING. REMOVED FROM ROYAL TOMB. Received March 1, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 28. King George V’s coffin was transferred without ceremony from the Royal tomb at Windsor Castle to the sarcophagus designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. He is the first monarch to be buried there.
