JURY’S LONG JOURNEY
VISIT TO SCENE OF FATAL ACCIDENT [ Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 1. To visit the scene of a fatal accident, from which a claim for £4014 damages had arisen, the jury travelled over 100 miles to Waiotira, North Auckland, this afternoon and will return to the city late to-night. The journey was made at the jury’s request and members set off shortly after mid-day in. a large service car. They were accompanied by the deputy-registrar of the Auckland Supreme Court, a surveyor, and two constables.
