WAVERLEY. Mr. and Mrs. W. Findlay, who have been the guests of Mrs. H. P. Fowler, have returned to Taihape. Mr. J. Dunn, jnr., sailed from Wellington yesterday for a holiday trip to Australia. TAIHAPE. Mr. D. N. Mackay, of the Taihape staff of the Bank of New Zealand, has received notice of his transfer to Kawhia. ■ During his stay in Taihape, Mr. Mackay has made many friends, and will be greatly missed. He is a keen alpinist and a popular captain of the Otaihape Alpine Club. Mr. J. A. Graham and Mr. R. Kilkolly are absent from Taihape on holiday. Mr. R. W. Smith, junr., of the Taihape Post Office staff, left on Saturday evening under transfer to Auckland. Mr. H. Watson has returned from a holiday visit to the South Island.
