( The following athletes have been selected to represent the West Coast (North Island) Amateur Athletic Centre at the New Zealand championship meeting, at Napier, on Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11: Javelin. —S. A. Lay (Taranaki), F. Adlam (Taranaki). Discus. —J. D. Morgan (Wanganui). Pole Vault. F. S. Barraclough (Taranaki). 440 and 880yds.—P. Wallace (Wanganui), and L. Hannan (Manawatu). High Jump.—K. Galloway (Manawatu). Hammer and Shot.—S. I. Nolan (Wanganui). One and Three-mile Walks. —C. Reid (Wanganui). WANGANUI CLUB HURDLES TITLES The Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will hold the 220yds. hurdles championship at 6 o'clock to-night on Cook’s Gardens. The 120yds. and 440yds. hurdles will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
