GAIETIES OF 1939
FAREWELL PERFORMANCE. Stanley McKay's Gaieties of 1939 concluded its Wanganui season at the Opera House last night when the revue "The Laughter Express’’ was presented to a large and appreciative audience. The revue was sparkling and George Hurd, Stella Lamond, Alec McKinnon and the priceless mirthmaker, Stan Foley, were in fine fettle. The company was given a rousing reception when the curtain was rung down, an atmosphere of revelry prevailing. The Gaieties of 1939 will open a season at Palmerston North to-day.
