RANGIWAHIA PLUNKET SOCIETY
A meeting of the Rangiwahia Plunket Society and members of the Mangaweka sub-branch was held recently at the residence of Mrs. Morgan. Mrs. Boshier read the report and balancesheet and both were favourably commented on.
It was decided to supply afternoon tea at the next stock sale in Rangiwahia to augment the funds. Mrs. R. H. H. Guthrie, the Mangaweka secretary gave a resume of the year's work and explained that it was the sub-branch’s 25th. year of work and the committee were aiming at a membership of one hundred and thus to have a paid subscription list of £25.
Much enthusiasm was shown in the prospect of a greatly increased membership. Afternoon tea was served in the garden and the meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to Miss Morgan for her hospitality and to the chair.
