Once Seen in Action Never Forgotten.
One of the most distinctive personalities in sport seen in London is Miss Dora Berigi, of Hungary, to defend her English open-table tennis title. Miss Berigi is petite, red-haired lafthanded. a great sport, and a perfect fury when in play. She fancies black “shorts” that reach negligently almost to her ankles, says the Daily Herald. This terrific human dynamo plays as it the whole world were defying her; she jumps, recoils, punches everything as though in deadly enmity and—wins. Awkward, some of her shots, but her gymnastics are an asset. And when the “fury" has finished, the frightening expressions of her intense face vanish like magic, and a charming smile takes their place.. Once seen in action never forgotten.
