N.P.A. CONFERENCE

OFFICERS ELECTED MR. (’. W. EARLE PRESIDENT I Per Press Association. 1 HANMER SPRINGS, Feb. 24. At the annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association at Hanmer, the president, Mr. C. W. Earle. C.M.G., welcomed Mr. Phineas Selig, the only life member of the association.

The following officers were elected: President, Mr. C. W. Earle; general committee, Messrs. R. D. Horton, F. A. Clare, W. Easton, W. J. Blundell. C. W. Hodge, A. J. Alport, and W. J. Woods (Mr. J. Montgomery, associate member); advertising committee. Messrs. E. A. Blundell, A. L. Wood. A. G. Gardiner. F. H. Walls, W. A. Whitlock. and C. L. Bagnall (Messrs. H. E. Bell and F. W.
