TOP PRICE SHILLING AND HALF-PENNY BROKERS’ RANGE OF PRICES The top price at the sale yesterday was 12id, which was obtained in two instances by the New Zealand Coi operative Distributing Company. Thirty-seven bales of Corriedale wool was sold on behalf of Fernie Bros, for that price and four bales of halfbred on behalf of Messrs.* Fullerton-Smith, Marton. Six bales of Corriedale sold 1 by the Loan and Mercantile for Mr. I Alex Glasgow, Turakina, made one 1 shilling. | The top price obtained under the hammer at the last sale in Wanganui, on January 19, was 113 d, Mr. W. Craig, Kakatahi (Wright Stephenson), Mr. Cedric Pearce, Waitotara (Jackson and Company) selling at that price at auction. Mr. Craig’s wool was fine hogget and that sold for Mr. Pearce a Lincoln line. Dalgety and Company, at the January sale, passed a line of Lincoln wool on behalf of Mr. L. R. Hamilton, Manutahi, at 113 d, but sold it later by private treaty at one shilling. .
