WEEK’S ACTIVITIES END TO-DAY. Physical Fitness Week ends to-day. In Wanganui the second day of the Wanganui Jockey Club’s race meeting will be featured, and at night the West Coast (North Island) Amateur Ath.etic Championships which will oe staged in the afternoon as well. The ptmiary schools distiict swimming champ.onships are to oe staged at the Durie Hill baths this afternoon and the bridge-to-bridge race will be decided' in the Wanganui River. Yesterday was primary schools' day, when suitable observance was made by the various schools. Wanganui East devoted the day to a sports meeting, and the Intermediate school staged tabloid sports on Cook's Gardens. Other schools patronised swimming.
