EVENTS DECIDED LAST NIGHT TWO FLAT RACES AND TWO-MILE CYCLE Four events were decided by the Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club, on Cook’s Gardens, last night, all of them being included in the programme promoted to emphasise physical fitness week. Results:— One Mile Cycle.—W. Pidwell 1, W. Beswarick 2, J. Chalk 3. Time, 2.2 2-5. 120yds. Bruen Cup.—Burbush 1, Wallace 2, Brandon 3. Time, 12 2-5. One Mile Flat.—Couchman 1, Wallace 2, Bills 3. Time, 4.37. Two Mile Cycle.—Pidwell 1, Broa ’ bent 2, Head 3. Time, 4.22 2-5.
