THIRTEEN RESIGN
SUPPORTERS OF GANDHI. Received t Feb. 23, 5.5 p.m. CALCUTTA, Feb. 22. Pandit Nehru and 12 other supporters of Mahatma Gandhi have resigned. A Calcutta cablegram published yesterday stated:—lt is reported that the decision of 12 of lyiahatma Gandhi's 15 supporters to resign seems to presage a split in the Congress High command on the eve of the session at Tripurl for the purpose of formulating the year’s programme. The situation is interpreted as meaning that the recalcitrant group desire to give the leftist President Bose and the Socialists a free hand to conduct Congress in the interests of India’s complete independence.
