COMING-OF-AGE PARTY AT WAVERLEY

On Monday evening a surprise party was Drought to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Morrison, Waverley, on the occasion of the coming of age of their eldest daughter Lorna Jean. A very happy time was spent, games and dancing being the order of the evening. Mrs. W. Morrison won a very novel competition. Several items contributed by Mesdames Graves and Stewart were much appreciated. Mr. Ray Hughes, in a very apt little speech, proposed the toast of the evening, which was celebrated with musical honours. After being thanked by the recipient, a gold key, presented by her father, was duly autographed. A beautifully decorated cake having been cut, a dainty supper was partaken of, bringing to a close an evening that will long be remembered by all present.
