MINISTERIAL The Hon. F. Langstone, Minister of Lands, left Wellington by motorcar early yesterday morning to attend the Waimarino Agricultural and Pastoral Show. He will arrive in Raetihi to-morrow. The Hon. W. Loe Martin, Minister of Agriculture, left Wellington for Hamilton by the Limited express last night. The Minister, who will visit the Ruakura Experimental Farm today, expects to return to Wellington on Wednesday. Mrs. T. H. Lowry, Dominion president of the Red Cross Society, is a visitor to Wanganui.

Mr. H. Frost, M.P. for New Plymouth, will visit Wanganui to-day. He will be staying at the Federal Hotel.

Mr. John R. Roberts, of Sydney, is a visitor to Wanganui, and is staying at the Rutland Hotel.

Mr. Eric Riddiford, president of the Wellington Racing Club, was a visitor for the Wanganui races yesterday.

The Rev. K. W. McKinney, Presbyterian minister at Tirau for the past three years, will leave in July for Great Britain, where he will undertake post-graduate study.

Mr. E. P. Andreas, of Sydney, has arrived in Auckland on one of his regular visits to New Zealand’s biggame fishing grounds. He is accompanied by Mr. P. E. Andreas.

The following have been appointed members of the Opticians' Board according to a notice contained in last night’s Gazette: Messrs. G. W. Harty, T. G. Young and H. S. Gilberd.
