DULL EWE SALE

MARKET AT WANGANUI FREEMAN R. JACKSON'S REPORT Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Ltd., report that over 8000 sheep of all classes came forward to a good but decidedly conservative lot of buyers yesterday and the market for cast ewes was considerably under last week, values being down by at least three shillings a head. Young ewes maintained late rates provided they were well grown and in good order but all classes of poor conditioned, backward and low-mouthed ewes were hard of sale.
