Due for early screening are “Prison Without Bars,” Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Safety in Numbers,” and Suez.” DUCHESS— Fred McMurray and Jean Parker are in "The Texas Rangers, commencing to-morrow. Monday’s offering will consist of “King of Gamblers,” with Lloyd Nolan, and “Hotel Haywire," starring Leo Carrillo. Warner Oland and Keye Luke are the stars of “Charlie Chan on Broadway,” to screen next Wednesday, and on Friday it will be followed by “40 Naughty Girls," starring Zasu Pitts and James Gleason. REGENT—"I Am the Law," commencing on Saturday, has Edward G. Robinson starred, and the supporting film is “She Had To Eat,” with Rochelle Hudson and Arthur Treacher featured. Next Wednesday's double-feature programme consists of “Doctor Rhythm," with Bing Crosby, Mary Carlisle and Beatrice Lillie, and “Her Husband Lies,” starring Gail Patrick and Ricardo Cortez. “Lady in the Morgue,” set down tor Saturday of next week, has Preston Foster supported by Patricia Ellis and Frank Jenks, and the co-feature is “Life Begins in College,” starring Tony Martin, Joan Davis and Gloria Stuart. OPERA HOUSE— Mr. Stanley McKay's new “Gaieties” will play a return season n Wanganui on Saturday and Monday next, when new programmes will be offered. The principal artists are George Hurd, Stan Foley, Alec McKinnon, Stella Collier, Barry Bros., San Remos Duo, Stella Lamond and Scotty and Dolly.
