CAN’T FLOUT THE LAW
DRIVER WITHOUT LICENCE TRAVELLER FINED The maximum fine of £lO for driv- ■ ing a car without a licence was imposed on a traveller named Norman I Cecil Trillo in the Palmerston North Magistrate's Court. According to the police, a car was discovered nose into a gorse fence on the highway near Wangaehu. Inquiries were instituted and Trillo admitted being the driver. He had been returning from Wanganui where he had been convicted of being intoxicated while at the wheel and had been ' fined as well as having his licence cancelled. Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., said to Trillo i that he could not flout the law like j that.
