OVERSEAS INQUIRIES SIX THOUSAND SCOUTS 1 Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 21. I Many overseas inquiries have been ' received by the organisers of the I Centennial Boy Scout Jamboree, ant j it is certain that the 6000 boys whe I will meet under canvas at Herei taunga, Wellington, in December will include representatives of many nationalities. The leader of the jamboree team Mr. J. E. F. Vogel, has received a letter from Dr. F. M. de Molmar Sydney, stating that he will in aii probability represent the Hungarian Boy Scouts’ Association at the jamboree. While school terms will pre vent any Hungarian boys attending a number of Rovers are likely u come from that country. Three oi four, including a young chemical engineer and a farmer, both well-edu-cated and of good middle-class families, are anxious to settle in Nev Zealand after the jamboree, if Government permits can be obtained. Another letter is from Dr. W. E M. C. Hamilton, scoutmaster of the Andre-da-Thaye troop, Maastricht Holland, who is anxious to bring i • troop for the camp if possible. ! Dr. Hamilton expressed anxiety a | the prospect of camping in Decern | ber, and inquired as to the gear i . would be necessary to bring. Th' I jamboree organisers, however, rea./ , sured him as to the rigours of tin climate, and are hoping that th' i Dutch boys will find it possible t( I attend. __.
