INDUCTION SERVICE
REV. V. C. VENIMORE The Rev. V. C. Menimore, MA. 8.D., who has been appointed parish priest of St. Peter’s. Gonville. in succession to Rev. C. W. Soloman, was? inducted at St. Peter’s last night. The service was conducted by the Rev. Archdeacon J. R. Young, a welcome social being given Mr. Venimore later in the parish hall. Formerly curate of St. Mark’s Church, Wellington, Mr. Venimore arrived in Wanganui last week from Sydney, after spending two years in England, where he was assistant at St. Paul’s Church, Thornton Heath, ~ ’rrev.
