NAY’AL OFFICER SERIOUSLY INJURED £ Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Feb. 19. A fractured skull and lacerations were suffered by Petty-Offcer Alexander Woods, aged 30, of H.M.S. Philomel, when a small two-seater car he was driving went out of control and capsized on Lake Road, Takapuna. The other occupant of the car, Petty-Officer Robert Gwillan, also of the Philomel, suffered laceration. Petty-Officer Woods’ condition is regarded as fairly serious.
