TAIHAPE SHOW

SATISFACTORY ENTRIES. TO BE HELD NEXT THURSDAY. (Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Feb. 18. The secretary of the Rangitikei A. and P. Association has stated that the entries for the forthcoming show are very satisfactory. As was to be expected on account of the adverse season there is a falling off in the vegetable section, but on the other hand there is a large increase in the cookery classes. In the live stock section the total is only a few less than last year. With 20 more entries in the horse and pony competitions. The weight riding competition should prove an attractive feature. The sum of £2O is offered in prize money in this section. The show will be held next Thursday, February 23, and everything points to a most successful fixture.
