Stanley McKay’s Gaieties Company, which had such a successful season at the Opera House last week, is to return for a further season of two nights and a matinee (Saturday 25th. and Monday 27th. insts.). Entirely new productions will be staged—- “ Let’s Go Hunting” on Saturday and "The Laughter Express” on Mondaythe season opening at a matinee, commencing at 2.30 on Saturday afternoon, when several valuable gifts wi. be distributed amongst the children George Hurd and his clever associate.-, may be sure of a hearty reception as they were all very popular on the previous visit. Seats may be reserved at Dobbs Bros’ without extra charge.

DEARE WINS TAURANGA TOURNEY

RAPANUI REACH POST-SECTION TAURANGA, Feb. 17. The final of the Tauranga bowling tournament was played this morning between Carlton (Whitaker, Rodgers, Clarke, Deare) and Te Aroha (Bliss, Bailey, Maingay, Rosenfeldt) in perfect weather on a keen green. The Auckland team won 23 —21. The Rapanui rink, skipped by G. Handley, were eliminated in the first round of post-section play.

KEESING CUP MATCH TO-DAY

GONVILLE CHALLENGED BY WANGANUI. At 4.30 this afternoon, on the Gonville green, a Wanganui Club rink will play Gonville (holders) for the Keeking Cup. This should be a game well worth witnessing as both clubs are fielding strong rinks. The personnel of the rinks will be: Wanganui.—Boulton, Stone, Goodey, Engebretsen. Gonville.—North, Healey, Laird, Corby.
