On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nearly every R.A.F. machine based at Singapore searched the seas over a radius of 100 miles following a report from the naval intelligence that two submarines of a nationality unknown, but believed to be German, were cruising in local waters, but no trace of the submarines was found.
