RESIGNATION ANNOUNCED

CZECH CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF Received Feb. 19. 8.30 p.m. PRAGUE, Feb. 18. General Krejci, Chief of the General Staff, who is the organising genius of Czechoslovakia’s military machine, has resigned ostensibly owing to ill-health. The resignation of General Krejoi is only one of many signs of the complete reorganisation and drastic reduction of the Czechoslovak army which the Government is now effecting. The officers corps has been almost halved and the Budget defence estimates substantially reduced.
