Dr. A. H. E. Wall and Mrs. Wall, Wanganui, leave to-day for the medical conference at Christchurch.
Mr. R. E. Cuthbertson, of Wanganui, left last night for Auckland. He will be away until Thursday.
Mr. T. C. Lowry, Taihape, sole selector of the New Zealand Cricket Council, was a visitor to Wanganui on Saturday for the match played by Sir Julien Cahn's team against the Wanganui XI.
Mr. D. E. Wanklyn, of Christchurch. chairman of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council visited Wanganui for the cricket match last Saturday between Sir Julien Cahn's team and Wanganui.
Mr. A. T. Donnelly, ot Christchurch, a former chairman of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, visited Wanganui for the cricket match between tlhe Wanganui XI and Sir Julien Cahn's team on Saturday.
Sir Julien Cahn, of Stanford Hall, Loughborough, England, who visited Wanganui as captain and sponsor of the English cricket team which played Wanganui on Saturday, left yesterday for Palmerston North. He was accompanied by Lady Cahn. During their stay in Wanganui Sir Julien and Lady Cahn were at Foster's Hotel.
Mr. C. T. Fyfe, who has taken over the New Commercial Hotel, Wanganui, was formerly in the engineer’s branch of the Post and Telegraph Department and came to Wanganui from Wellington. He was met on Saturday night by his colleagues and presented with a clock. He has been over 20 years in the Post and Telegraph Department.
