WANGANUI CLUB SATURDAY’S BOGEY MATCH. COMPETITION RESULTS. A strong wind and fast fairways and greens made playing conditions difficult and poor scores were recorded at Belmont on Saturday. The best cards handed in were:— E. H. Lange, J. Harrison, J. B. Jack, I. Saunders and A. Elliott each three
down; F. Beaven. and A. G. Mackay each five down; H. T. Cox six down. Next Saturday a Stapleford Bogey match will be played. Summer Golf.

Summer Cup Semi-Finalists. Very good progress has been made with this knock out competition. At the week-end, the following players remained in the quarter-finals: —T. Lovegrove v J. Goss; J. C. Brown v. C. Bristol; H. T. Cox v. S. Pritchard; U. G. Williams v. W. G. Haggle. At the week-end J. C. Brown defeated C. Bristol and S. Pritchard won from H. T. Cox. Pritchard and Brown thus reached the semi-finals. The final is to be played on March 4.
