Banking Department Capital 14,500,000 Rest 3,600,000 Deposits— Public 12,500,000 Bankers 110,600,000 Other accounts 35,500,000 £176,700,000 Government securities 82,500,000 Discounts, advances 18,100,000 Other securities 21,900,000 Notes and coin 54,200,000 £176,700,000 Proportion of reserve to liabilities was 34.19 per cent., compared with 33.79 per cent, last week.
